Szabó & Szomor Law Office (Szabó & Szomor Ügyvédi Iroda) has been established on 01 February 1991 by dr. Sz. Szabó Sándor and dr. Szabóné dr. Szomor Erika attorneys at law.
Besides the 7 attorneys at law and 1 trainee lawyer employed by the Law Office further professional collaborators are engaged in our activity on a regular basis.
The most important fields of the scope of activity of the Law Office are business and commercial law. Our colleagues are specialized in contract law, company law, tax law, IT / IP law, public procurement law and collective labour law.
Our Clients consist of – domestic and foreign (including multinational) – companies, but we are pleased to counsel private individuals as well in the above fields of law.
Our core clients consist of large sized service companies that are engaged, typically, in the transport industry as leading players.
Further to the above we counsel several small to large sized State and private owned enterprises that are engaged in a wide range of business from hotel industry to logistics and IT services or manufacturing and wholesaling veterinary medicines.
With regard to the above clientele, we have acquired a significant expertise in network industries, company restructurings, outsourcings and labour law issues (including collective labour law as well), tenders and public procurement procedures, IT projects and representation in tax issues. Moreover our law firm acquired skills in due diligences, mergers and acquisitions.
Our Colleagues have obtained further professional qualifications in the areas of finance law, tax law and business law, which – combined with the appropriate language knowledge – makes it possible to provide our legal services to our Clients in English as well.
Further to the legal studies most of our colleagues have attended university or academic trainings in economy which enables our Law Office to provide the Clients with a more complex counselling including the considering of economic aspects besides legal ones.
